The production values of soaripod.com are a bit suspect, but the product feature there is still intriguing. The Soaripod is basically a flexible holder for the iPhone and iPod Touch (no models for the iPhone 3G are apparently available yet) that features a clip on the other end. This makes it possible to prop up the Apple gadget in a variety of locations, at viewer-friendly angles.
Thanks to reader Joseph for the tip.

i bought one and I love it. i hated holding my iphone to watch movies and i looked stupid doing it. this just clips onto the plane tray and I can eat and watch for ever. This is great!!!
I received my G3 two weeks ago and my soaripod last week. What an amazing couple of weeks. The soaripod is so great! I have clipped it everywhere. I am almost obsessed with wondering where I can clip it next. I guess any new toy is fun. I sure like this one.
It does clip onto almost any surface and securely holds iPhones and iTouches. You can watch videos or blogcasts almost anywhere with this gadget. It will hold 3Gs now with a belt clip and they will be packaging a 3G clip with it in the near future.
All I know is, I absolutely LOVE my Soaripod! I bought one a few weeks ago and haven’t stopped using it since then! It works GREAT with my iPhone!!! Saves me much needed time to “work while I play”! I do quite a bit of traveling and to have my hands free for my laptop while I watch my videos, is great and everyone who has an iPod or iPhone should have one!
