Sony PS3 vs Nintendo Wii Showdown

Since the launch of the Nintendo Wii, it has been endorsed by a long queue of fans. Nintendo is focusing on women, grandparents, non-gamers, and the young children’s market to avoid head to head competition with Sony’s PS2 or 3. Sony normally attracts hard-core gamers and Nintendo intends to attract less serious gamers who are after more interactive and relaxing games so the strategy fits well.
Games that are designed for Nintendo Wii are unlike those in the traditional game market, where players make themselves comfortable on the couch but you need to do all sort of motion to stimulate the characters action!
However, there is some things to take note before anyone impulsively gets one Wii. The cons are; Controller need batteries; lacks advance graphics and surround sound; requires a wired receiver unit placed near the TV to connect with wireless controllers. Overall, Nintendo lacks the graphical prowess like its competitors Xbox 360 and the PS3, but its unique motion-sensitive controllers makes it hard to resist the temptation to try out a few moves.

For me I prefer the Wii over ps3 because Iam into virtual realty games that allow me to interact rather than just sitting there playing.
