Atari 2600 Joystick Replica Brings Nostalgia, Reveals Old Age

When the Atari 2600 first came out back in ‘77, I wasn’t even an itch in my dad’s pants. But I totally understand why everyone went gaga over the system, and why old fogeys still relish their days on the pioneering gaming machine. That’s what I feel for my NES after all.
In any case, this aptly-named Legacy USB joystick mimics the original joystick of said Atari console, but works like any other game controller designed for the desktop. It plugs in with any PC, Mac, or Linux machine via USB, and costs $15. Just like the original, the controller comes with one button, but according to everythingUSB, it’s possible to modify the joystick to accommodate 10 more.
