The folks over at geeksugar may have their own issues with Conof’s USB Desk Lamp, but as an avid laptop user myself, it’s a great addition to my home laptop ops center. When I’m in the mood for some desktop-laptop action, I currently plug in my XPS to the HP w2228h. The USB desk lamp is a great add-on to this setup.

The folks over at geeksugar may have their own issues with Conof’s USB Desk Lamp, but as an avid laptop user myself, it’s a great addition to my home laptop ops center. When I’m in the mood for some desktop-laptop action, I currently plug in my XPS to the HP w2228h.
It’s reasonable to assume that the lamp will make <del datetime="2008-10-07T06:45:20+00:00">plagiarizing</del> reading those hard copies a lot easier, especially since the light swivels 270 degrees (this allows the presumably blinding light to be faced away from the poor user as well). The desk lamp also doubles as an iPod dock, which makes the gadget slightly more useful. Let’s hope Conof’s marketing people don’t decide to price the lamp out of the average consumer’s reach!

Aside from “Would you pay $130 for a wired keyboard with an iPod dock built-in?”, the other question we have for the Razer Pro|Type Keyboard is “Why does it only come in white?”
Razer’s probably assuming that future owners will probably hook this baby up to their iMac. But where does that leave the Mac Pro owners, not to mention those who use non-white iPods and computers—like a PC?
Full details here.
