So I never planned on opening—much less using—the Crumpler Loo Roll, which is basically toilet paper enjoying the same marketing that supports Crumpler’s pricey bags. But nature really did call just before I was about to attend a wedding, and I was thankful I kept the roll in my car.

So, check it out: pics of me using the Crumpler Loo Roll (click on a thumbnail to see the full-size version):

The outer packaging

Ready for use (tore off the first square, which was glued to the rest of the roll just like on any other toilet paper roll)

Amazing! The pattern stays intact even when wet! (Second round of wiping and before the second flush cycle)

I don’t know how they did it, but Crumpler was able to create what’s easily the best roll of toilet paper I’ve used (at least, for that purpose). While strong enough not to break despite vigorous wiping, the Loo Roll still felt soft. A perfect balance of firmness and pliability in other words.
