The Best Cable Ties Ever?

thomas-betts-ties-sm.jpgCool Tool recently reviewed the Ty-Rap Zip Ties, which are designed to keep the cables in any computing/home entertainment environment neat. You neatly bunch cables together, then use zip ties to make sure the cables remain neat and together. The verdict? “…expensive, but worth it.”

That’s because unlike your average cheap zip-tie, Ty-Rap’s offering uses a stainless steel lock to hold things tight. This instead of plastic serrations that usually seal just too loose to keep things together. Is $19 expensive for 100 pieces? That’s $0.19 a piece, and when you consider that you only have to buy the pack once, it’s a worthy purchase in our book.

We power our gadget through sheer force of will, and rely on wireless tech like Bluetooth and Wifi. So we don’t need the Ty-Rap zip ties. But you probably do, and you can buy them from Amazon. There are also lots of other options available through the same site.
