The Cheapest 2 X 4GB RAM Package Around

If you’re know your laptop can support 8GB of memory (the SO-DIMM DDR2 667Mhz kind), NewEgg.com has one of the cheapest 2 x 4GB chip packages around at $330. G.SKILL is a relative unknown in the memory industry, but at least one customer review had no problems with it.
Take note though! 8 gigabytes is a lot of memory to work with, and your laptop or operating system may not be able to “see” all of it, so do some research before spending your hard-earned cash. A short-list of laptops that can support 8GB RAM include the older MacBook Pro and the XPS M1330.
