Everyone’s buzzing over the rumor—started by the Financial Times—that Apple’s rushing to release a tablet by September, in time for the Christmas season. And 9to5Mac was kind enough to quote the registered-user-only article generously:
The talks come as Apple is separately racing to offer a portable, full-featured, tablet-sized computer in time for the Christmas shopping season, in what the entertainment industry hopes will be a new revolution. The Sony Ericsson Rachael UI Video, Details

Just to be clear, Sony Ericsson’s upcoming kitchen-sink phone is codenamed “Rachael”, not “Rachel”. So far all info on this phone found online is still unofficial, remaining rumors until made official by Sony Ericsson. That includes the UI demo video below:
What do you think of the rumored interface? It looks too flashy for its own good, taking too much time to animate elements unnecessarily. Rumored Details on Upcoming Dell Minis

Interesting tidbits include the availability of a 250GB, Ubuntu, an internal TV tuner, and a 6-cell battery as options for Dell Mini Inspiron 10 this April 17. The 20th of the month will see 1024 x 600 become the standard resolution, the possibility of 2GB RAM, and the color red.
Not sure if this is legit, but future plans for the Dell’s Mini Inspirons have allegedly been leaked.

I don’t really care if Microsoft decides to drop Internet Explorer or not. As a frustrated web designer, all I ask is that the company make future browsers even more compliant with the standards established by the W3C.
Sony PSP 2 Presumed for Later This Year

The internet is currently buzzing over what David Perry, the chief creative officer of Acclaim, surmised in a conversation with kotaku.com yesterday: “I spoke to a developer who is working on it right now. I know this developer is already working on it, so that means they have a prototype. That would sound like a fall release to me.”
