Whoops, sorry for the late reply. I wouldn’t doubt if this printer also worked on the mac, and I’m pretty sure Mac OS X’s built-in scanning software would be able to work with the MPF. But double-sided printing? This particular gadget can only print on one side unfortunately.

I got the printer working after installing the RTM (build 7600) version of Windows 7 x64 and installing the drivers from HP’s site (same drivers that didn’t work on the RC1 build 7100).

Yes, I tried the vista x64 drivers.. and just about every other driver/software package I found on HP’s site. I even tried some ‘HP universal print driver’ -thingy without any luck. I guess the next step is to upgrade the Windows 7 build to RTM or go back to Vista..

Unfortunately Enroth I’m using a 32-bit version of Windows 7, also RC1 build 7100. Just to be sure, you used the Vista drivers?

Hi!

I can’t get this printer to work on Windows 7 64-bit (RC1, build 7100), can you tell me what version of Windows 7 you got it working with? also: what drivers/software did you use? I’ve had zero luck with the ones that came with the device and the ones from hp’s site.. the weird part is: the device seems to install ok (it shows up on devices & printers and scanning works) but all print jobs immediately end up to ‘error – printing’ on the print queue?!
