USBGeek USB Thumb Ionizer

The USBGeek USB Thumb Ionizer is a USD 15 gadget wonder. There was a bout of unhealthy engineers at my office a while back and it was pretty scary to get sick so near the holidays. Luckily USBGeek dropped this USB Thumb Ionizer over at The Gadget Blog HQ (TGB HQ) and I had a try at it to kill the viruses and bacteria in the vicinity of my desk. Interesting thing was that after 2 weeks of continuous use in my 8 hours shift, I did not contract any fever, sore throat or flu. Somehow the USBGeek USB Thumb Ionizer gave me an advantage and I think those negative ions gave my body some good dose of health. This may sound pretty silly but I’m a testimony.
It’s a really simple device. Just plug one end to the supplied USB cable and the other end to the USB port on your PC. You’ll hear a neglible hiss when you put it near your ear but it’s hardly noticeable in the office. So far, its been on my desk for more than 2 months now and it’s still going strong. Looks like having a Ionizer does work in spite of all the negative / sceptics comments on the Net out there.

that is total bs! do the engineers in ur vicinity know about it, because i assume ur not one if you believe that kind of gadget! pls, releases 2 million negative ions? eat a couple teaspoons of salt. u´ll get a number of negative ions so huge that there is no name for it (and the positive ions are all there too!) this kind of pseudo-scientific bs does not need to be spread further
This is very great thing for people sitting everyday in front of computer. I have ionizer included in air filtering device, but is too large and noisy. This small thing beats the world. I’m going to buy it today!

Many people around are a heavy smokers, I feel that I can’t breath. I hate this. & also the air in our country is very filthy.
I need such ionizer to breath well especially that i have dyspnea.

Several studies have shown air ionizers have negative effects on human health, specially on asmathic and allergic people. It makes their problems worse. It is just a gimmick.
