So I got an email pointing me to this video, where Vanilla Ice (aka Robert Van Winkle) says sorry for Ice Ice Baby:
See that URL in the end? Rightmusicwrongs.org is a flash-driven site presented in Virgin Mobile livery. Turns out the Australian franchise is trying to use the musical hall-of-shame to build brand awareness or something like that. Or to get gullible bloggers like me to write about them.
I LOL’D because the video is titled “vanilla ice says sorry” , then when you click play, it says “We’re sorry, this video is no longer available.”
Maybe Virgin is pulling back their campaign. It happens. I wasn’t terribly impressed with their little site anyway.
