I used the WD Sync software and I tried to test whether I can browse and open the file inside the software and I was successful of doing this but when I edit and save and leave it open for a while it seems that the system is having some error retrieving the data. The problem is I can no longer open the file inside the WD Sync software. It says “WD Sync could not save your data”.. this is while attempting to open again the saved file.
yenko.. I have the same issue… Have you figured out how to resolve it..?
I don’t have this WD drive, but their WD32000 usb/firewire. It’s horrible as is the WD online support. I encourage EVERYONE to merely blog WD blog sites and read for yourselves. Their products blow and so does their support. They don’t answer their email support requests and make excuses when you call them on the phone. Run away from WD.
