Funnily, I did not find this tiny 512MB JNC MP3 player (18 grams) mentioned on Engadget’s site. There was a mention of a JNC MP3 Model over at Gizmodo but zilch on this cool cube size JNC SSF-8005 that will look nice hanging on Paris Hilton’s neck while washing my car.
UPDATE 18 JULY 2005.
This is the MobiBlu-DAH-1500
When size matters! Nothing is as tiny as this ultra micro sized player from JNC. The SSF-8005 is the world’s tinniest DAP player, and features a large 512MB storage and is about the size of a sugar cube! Yes, a sugar cube! Nicely designed and rather stylish, it is the new trend in “techno-jewellery” which can be worn on the neck, and is also supplied with neck-strap earphones for a neater fit.
The SSF-8005 has an inbuilt Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, offering up to 15 hours of playtime and charges off the USB port. The SSF-8005 is not only tiny, it is also feature packed! There’s a clock/watch, bright OLED display, FM radio (FM radio recording supported as well), firmware upgradeable and power saving mode.
Measurements: 24mm x 24mm x 24mm and weighs just 18 grams (with battery)!
