Microsoft has released a new firmware update1.4 for its Zune. This update is for firmware only bringing an improved shuffle experience. The firmware will make shuffling songs more random compared to before. Microsoft is continuing to improve Zune to make it a better product. This firmware update is just one of it. Don’t rush for an update yet. It doesn’t seem to update anything else except the shuffling of songs. If you are happy with your Zune, don’t bother updating its firmware. You might want to wait for the next update which might feature even more upgrades for Zune.

yeah thats a bit funny, releasing an update just for shuffle? it must have some hidden features like DRM enhacements and wifi restriction…otherwises they wont be so ashamed to publish!

agree, something is fishy in this update!! who the F&*^ releases an update just for randomness?
you might as well make the next update just for making the font size a pixel smaller…
