June 21st recap
Edge to early/pressing types on main. Stalkers performed well on the turf.
Richard Eramia booted home a pair. James Hodges and Pat Mouton both saddled two winners on the day.
Got my best bet Big Al’s Madraar ($7.80) home.
June 25th preview
A 9-race card on tap for Thursday, including a trio of turf events. Hot and sunny with fast and firm conditions expected.
Bee Bayou (15-1) is my longshot to watch in the 8th. He switches surfaces, cuts back in distance, and owns competitive speed ratings.
In today’s finale, Joey’s Mizzen Mast is my best bet of the day. He is bred to handle the sod and should move forward 2nd time out.
