We are down to the final seven days of the Del Mar meet, and the new month kicks off a Pick 6 carryover of more than $168k.
The Pick 6 begins in the 4th race. Launch The Bull (5-2) and The Whammer (3-1) head a field of ten maiden sprinters. Ringolevio (4-1) and Unbridled Papillon (6-1) also figure to attract support.
The 5th race a claiming sprint for the ladies, and Wada Falls (3-1) is the morning line fav in the wide open 10-horse field.
Saarface is an early scratch in the 6th, and AE Gilligan (6-1) could still draw in with another defection. Buyer’s Remorse (5-2) is the one to beat in this maiden claiming sprint.
On the grass in the 7th, and take out Royal Vision. The Usual Q. T. (5-2) is the morning line fav, but note that Flores abandons for Adam Suances (3-1).
The 8th and featured event is the $100k Generous Portion Stakes for juvenile fillies, and U Turn Me Crazy has been scratched. Unbridled Meeting (5-2) is the one to catch, and also keep an eye on maiden Whispering Hush. The latter motored home to land the show after a bad start in local bow.
The 9th and final race is a maiden claiming sprint, and we are left with a field of 10 after the defections of Downtown Banker, Seany’s Story, Velikaya, and De Brief Me. Hotsie (7-2) is the tepid morning line choice.
