Friday (12-12-08) Fair Grounds recap
Off the turf following Thursday’s winter event. Good main track played fair. Middle to outer posts best with wide moves around the far turn the frequent path to victory.
James Graham and Brian Hernandez Jr. both booted home a pair.
Arctic Jet ($198.60) helped create yet another Pick 6 carryover.
Churchill invader Precious Kiss (Jacinto/Mouton) was a sharp going away winner of the optional claiming 9th.

Saturday (11-22-08) Fair Grounds recap
Main track played fair. The two turf races produced a wire job (5.5f sprint), and a stalk/pounce winner (8f).
Four more wins for leading rider Francisco Torres. Another winner for Cody Autrey, and his $$ rider Jamie Theriot was at Churchill, so Torres rode.
Foreign Production was a prominent throughout winner of the Old Hickory (31st running), and the 2yo dashed 5.5f panels in 1:04.84. C Karma rallied from last to take the 38th running of the Pontalba for 2yo fillies. 5.5f in 1:05.70.
