Heavy fav Cush just lasted over recent Tom Amoss claim Mr. Porter for state bred allowance sprinters (race 8). Speaking of Amoss, he found the winners’ circle in the 6th with late running surface switcher Cya Later Bert.
Points of Grace (Point Given) gamely held off Dictina Too and Talkin Indian in the optional claiming turf route feature (replay below). Overbet fav Lady Attack (4th) desperately needed the outing.

Hat trick for Miguel Mena. Robby Albarado booted home a pair. Bret Calhoun saddled two winners, and two more wins for Steve Asmussen.
10yo gelding King of Speed won on the drop in the 7th…gotta love his winning spirit. Gowden Mile made an early winning bid and ended up a clear 2nd.
Omniscient (Albarado-Asmussen) looked good earning his diploma over first timer stablemate Total Gentleman in the 3yo route finale.

Robby Albarado and Corey Lanerie both booted home a pair. Steve Klesaris saddled two winners on the day.
Classy Deelites controlled the pace and downed PVal-Mott fav Desert Wheat in the state bred stakes quality grassy 5th.
Nans Joy (PVal-Mott) dropped out of the turf stakes ranks and found the winners’ circle in the optional claiming 9th. The daughter of In The Wings notched an all-important confidence boosting stateside win and may be ready for another stakes engagement.

Miguel Mena booted home a pair.
Get Rich Quick (Malcolm Pierce) gamely won the optional claiming turf feature, and he clearly likes this course/distance. Jazz Quest (Tom Amoss) was overbet and ended up an okay 4th in a much needed outing. He’ll be tighter next time.
