The world’s richest race will be run at Nad Al Sheba on Saturday, and the $6 million Dubai World Cup has attracted a wide open international cast.
Casino Drive appears poised for glory in this spot. I fancied the Japanese colt when he came to the US last year, and he has come into his own in ‘09 after an ambitious 3yo campaign. He owns fine positional speed and should enjoy this distance.
Albertus Maximus was my top in BC Dirt Mile and Donn, and he is thriving for Kiaran McLaughlin. He gets a distance test today.

Filly & Mare Turf
Wait A While is the 3-1 morning line favorite. Juddmonte Farms Visit is listed at 15-1 on the line, and she is expected to move to the Robert Frankel barn following the Cup. Forever Together drilled a 4f bullet in :47 at Keeneland.
Juvenile Fillies
Stardom Bound is the solid 2-1 late running choice.

Day 4 of the Del Mar meet is in the books, and the Pick 6 was nailed despite a huge upset in the Osunitas Hcp by 43-1 outsider Zardana (Gryder/McAnally). Main track continues to play fair, with the route races favoring speed on Saturday, and patient runners doing best in sprints. Stalkers and off the pace types held the advantage on the sod.
