Hangin’ Out With The Rep From Innis & Gunn

You may already know about Innis & Gunn beer, which in my opinion is the best thing to come out of Scotland since deep fried Mars Bars. Or maybe this is your first time hearing about it. If you’re a beer connoisseur and have a taste for whiskey, oak, and even rum then Innis & Gunn is the beer for you.
It was last summer when my taste buds first met with the smooth, caramel taste of the Original Innis & Gunn. I couldn’t believe that a beer could taste this incredible. When I discovered that it had been aged in …read more

Infused with imported roasted beans, this vodka is the perfect base for their Spiked Three-O Mocha cocktail. This after dinner drink offers a touch of chocolate and caramel flavors.

Hangover Cure: Bloody Caesars & Eggs Benny

This isn’t news to any of us, I’m sure. None the less I think it’s necessary to remind everyone just how perfect Eggs Benedict and Bloody Caesar’s are as a cure for a night of debauchery.
As the old saying goes it’s the Hair of the Dog and it’s oh so good! Although I wouldn’t say it’s the best thing for you it is however something to look forward to when you’re in bed cursing the night before.

I’ve made Caesars at home before and it’s nice to have the ingredients on hand (in case of a hangover emergency). But I’ve never …read more

Stick a Pickle In It – Dirty Pickle Martini

I dont’ know about you but I’m the biggest pickle fan! I crave them all the time and can eat them morning, day, and night. So when I heard about the Dirty Pickle Vodka Martini by Kevin Roberts, celebrity chef, cookbook author, and media personality you can imagine I was pretty stoked.
The name isn’t really that appetizing but if you’re like me and can’t go one day without a pickle then you’ll get over it. It’s a spin off from the classic dirty vodka martini with green olives. The only difference? It’s better!!!

A few of these bad boys and you’ll …read more

A Hot Steaming Cup of Apple Pie

With the cold and flu season in full swing, I can’t think of a better way to warm up and curl up with a good book than with a cup of hot steaming apple pie.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Tuaca Liqueur offers some great drink ideas for the holiday season.  For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, its an Italian liqeur that is flavored with vanilla and citrus. Mmmm…. delicious.
This drink recipe brings you the warm comfort of a hot apple pie with the added splash of fun.  This drink would be perfect for any holiday party as it’s sure …read more

Bourbon Whiskey Makes the Man

I grew up with my dad telling me that Whiskey and Scotch could heal anything. Because of this thinking I was constantly expected to drink small cupfuls to cure all of my ailments. In my opinion it made me stronger and definitely is the reason I’ve acquired a taste for the stuff.

When I started bartending I discovered The Manhattan. A cocktail that is far from fruity and was meant for men (or so it was originally intended). I know plenty of babes who love a good ‘ol fashion Manhattan. With that said it is the ‘King of Cocktails’ for a …read more

Peanut Butter and Jelly on the Rocks

The peanut is stepping into unfamiliar territory.  It’s been a staple in children’s lunchboxes, in peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, for years.  But now, it’s also an alcoholic drink?
Yes, you read that correctly!  The National Peanut Board has come up with a delicious alcoholic take on the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  I honestly can’t imagine anything tasting any better than this.  Courtesy of mixologist Kimble Knight of NYC’s Buddakan bar, the Creamy Rye Flip is infused with rye whiskey, cherry wine, and mmm… peanut butter!

Truck Dumps Beer All Over Highway

Where was I when this happened?
A tractor trailer carrying what looked like TONS of beer flipped over, spilling the delicious goodness inside all over the highway.  Whoever is taking the video, does seem pretty psyched, but not nearly as thrilled as I would be!
The clip is only 22 seconds long, so I’m really hoping for the sake of my sanity that there is a part two where whomever captured this is running gleefully down the street grabbing up as many cans as possible.
Oh wait, it’s Bud Light.  Never mind.  Click here to check out more of EveryJoe’s favorite video picks.

Nutcracker in a Cup

This drink may take a little bit of time to make, but it is totally worth it!
Featured on the Fine Living Network, this sweet cocktail brought to you by the National Peanut Board is the most creative and innovative drink I have seen in a long time.  You will have to concoct your own rum infusion, so get ready to roll your sleeves up.
Try something different and creative this year at your Holiday party; give your guests something they’ve never tasted before.  The mix of dry roasted peanuts and creme de cacao is one of the most decadent cocktail collaborations …read more
