The H Martini

You probably usually have your martinis with gin or vodka, but you can also make a few terrific martinis with tequila. This recipe for the H Martini uses Herradura Blanco.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Herradura Blanco
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Orange Juice
½ oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
2 oz. Lemon-Lime Soda
Splash olive juice
Method:
In a shaker filled with ice, add ingredients, shake and strain into Martini glass.

Mean Green Love Making Machine

You gotta love drinks with a catchy name — and this cocktail definitely has one. The Mean Green Love Making Machine gets its green color from Midori, but also features Blue Curacao.
Ingredients:
1 cup orange juice
1 oz Skyy vodka
1 oz Midori melon liqueur
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
Method:
Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake, and serve over ice in a highball glass.

Ingredients:
2 oz Alize liqueur
2 oz Skyy vodka
Method:
Fill cocktail glass with ice and mix the two ingredients.

Irish Sour

Here’s one more St. Patrick’s Day cocktail that you might enjoy on this festive holiday. This one uses Beefeater 24 Gin and contains an egg white!
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Beefeater 24 Gin
2/3 oz. Suze
2/3 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
½ oz. Yellow Chartreuse
2 barspoons Monin Green Tea Syrup
1 whole fresh egg white
Method:
Shake ingredients over ice and strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Irish Tea Party

For a cool, refreshing drink on St. Patrick’s Day, check out this recipe for the Irish Tea Party.
Ingredients
4 parts Sweetened Green Tea (chilled)
1 part Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/2 part Pernod Absinthe
Method
Rinse rocks glass with Pernod Absinthe. Add ice. Pour Jameson over the ice. Add Green tea and garnish with a lime slice.

Green Punch for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on Wednesday, March 17. If you aren’t a fan of green beer, make a batch of green punch for your St. Patrick’s Day party instead.
Ingredients
750-ml bottle vodka
12-oz can of frozen limeade concentrate
1/2 gallon lemon sherbet
1/2 gallon lime sherbet
24 oz of lemon-line soda
Method
Dissolve the limeade concentrate into the vodka in a large punch bowl.
Scoop in the sherbet and top off with lemon-lime soda.
You can also make a non-alcholic version of this punch for the kids. Just skip the vodka and add more soda.

If you like slushy cocktails, check out this recipe for the Bloody Matador using Jose Cuervo tequila, Red Bull and frozen limeade. This refreshing, energizing drink is perfect for a spring party.
Ingredients:
3 oz Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila
2 oz Red Bull energy drink
1 oz triple sec
3 oz frozen limeade concentrate
1 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz cherry liqueur
Method:
Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Blend until slushy.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Makes two drinks.

For St. Patrick’s Day, try a cocktail that isn’t just green in color but also features all organic ingredients. Highlighted by Blue Ice Organic Wheat Vodka, this festive, refreshing drink is one that your party guests are sure to love.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Blue Ice Organic Wheat Vodka
1/2 organic kiwi, peeled
1/2 organic lime, cut into quarters
1 teaspoon organic sugar
Method:
Muddle fruit and sugar in a mixing glass until well crushed and juicy. Add ice and vodka and shake vigorously. Pour all contents into bucket glass and drink with straws.

Leprechaun Cocktail

This St. Patrick’s Day cocktail is sure to bring you the luck of the Irish — or at least a little luck with the ladies. The Leprechaun cocktail offers a St. Patrick’s Day twist on gin and tonic.
Ingredients:
2 oz Irish whiskey
tonic water
twist of lemon for garnish
Method:
Pour the Irish whiskey over ice in highball glass. Choose an whiskey such as Bushmills or Jameson.
Top it off with tonic water.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

SKYY Appletini

One cocktail that most people seem to love is the Appletini. For your next party, serve up a batch using SKYY vodka and sour apple liqueur. Martinis are easy to make and this one is a fresh choice for spring.
Ingredients:
2 oz. SKYY Vodka
1 oz. sour apple liqueur
Splash of lemon lime soda
Method:
Mix SKYY Vodka and sour apple liqueur in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and serve in a cocktail glass. Top with a splash of lemon lime soda and garnish with a green apple wedge.
