The MG used to be the premier sports car in the British fleet, though now taken over by the likes of the Austin Mini and BMW the MG still fills a need for loyal British car enthusiasts. The new 2010 MG TF 85 & 135 models were designed to attract those same people who loved the old MG’s but who want a modern flare to them. Despite being sold to a Chinese firm, MG still retains it’s British charm.
The MG comes equipped with a very light but powerful 1.8L I4 engine that can put out an impressive 135 hp. Not …read more

You may already know about Innis & Gunn beer, which in my opinion is the best thing to come out of Scotland since deep fried Mars Bars. Or maybe this is your first time hearing about it. If you’re a beer connoisseur and have a taste for whiskey, oak, and even rum then Innis & Gunn is the beer for you.
It was last summer when my taste buds first met with the smooth, caramel taste of the Original Innis & Gunn. I couldn’t believe that a beer could taste this incredible. When I discovered that it had been aged in …read more

Sometimes there are some brilliant concept cars unveiled that never make it to the consumer. Perhaps it’s due to the recent economic downturn but the GMC Terradyne Concept may never see the dealership floor. It really was a great truck back when it was shown at the 2000 Detroit Auto Show.
The Terradyne was designed to be the ultimate truck for anyone who works hard. It was supposed to come with the 6.6L V8 300-hp Duramax engine, that was powerful enough to tow well over 6,000 lbs. One of the most remarkable things about the truck was that it was supposed …read more

Ninja Impales Himself

A Seattle man claiming to be a ninja attempted to jump over a 4-5 foot metal fence and didn’t quite make it over, impaling himself. The man is now in intensive care in serious condition.
I’m thinking that if you actually believe that you are a ninja, you should start small and practice jumping over a milk crate or something before moving on to a tall, sharp, metal fence.
The police were looking for an assault victim when they heard the man screaming and found him injured, impaled on the fence. They suspect that he was actually involved in the assault and …read more

North American automakers have promised that by 2040 all cars sold on this continent will be fully electric vehicles. If that sounds like a far way off for most people, that’s because it is. The report is meerly a ploy to demonstrate to consumers that they are working on our gas shortage/price problem and that things will get better latter on.
If you can’t wit till 2040 you’ll just have to settle for a top of the line, super fuel efficient hybrid vehicle. Able to use electric and gas engines hybrids are seen as the best comprimise using todays limited technology. …read more

Some concept cars are designed and presented for fun. Just a way for designers to throw their ideas around the table. However, once in a while they create something that you know could be a truly useful vehicle.
The all new Chevrolet Orlando Concept is one of those cars that will hit North American consumers by storm. The car was designed to be a compromise between a SUV, minivan and station wagon. The first ever Multi-Purpose Vehicle for Chevy has high hopes for the industry.
The Orlando boasts the interior space needed to accommodate a three row seating arrangement with the option …read more

This isn’t news to any of us, I’m sure. None the less I think it’s necessary to remind everyone just how perfect Eggs Benedict and Bloody Caesar’s are as a cure for a night of debauchery.
As the old saying goes it’s the Hair of the Dog and it’s oh so good! Although I wouldn’t say it’s the best thing for you it is however something to look forward to when you’re in bed cursing the night before.
I’ve made Caesars at home before and it’s nice to have the ingredients on hand (in case of a hangover emergency). But I’ve never …read more

Stick a Pickle In It – Dirty Pickle Martini

I dont’ know about you but I’m the biggest pickle fan! I crave them all the time and can eat them morning, day, and night. So when I heard about the Dirty Pickle Vodka Martini by Kevin Roberts, celebrity chef, cookbook author, and media personality you can imagine I was pretty stoked.
The name isn’t really that appetizing but if you’re like me and can’t go one day without a pickle then you’ll get over it. It’s a spin off from the classic dirty vodka martini with green olives. The only difference? It’s better!!!
A few of these bad boys and you’ll …read more
