The dakimakura is a large, huggable pillow available in Japan that often has a picture of an anime character printed on it. People of all ages love these pillows. And apparently Le Jin-gyu loved his pillow so much that he married it…literally.
The 28-year-old dressed up his pillow in a wedding dress and married it in a ceremony in front of a priest. As you can imagine, the wedding got plenty of media attention.

Some people really want to make it into the record books. Apparently British man, David Sheath is one of those people. Sheath is making a Guinness World Record attempt by hand-painting his entire car (Fiat 500) in pink nail polish.
His progress is being streamed live on the internet at www.pinkmyride.tv. The tedious project is expected to take at least a week, taking over 240,000 strokes of polish. Sheath is also communicating his viewers through Twitter.

You don’t need to rub your eyes because you read the title right. Somewhere in middle America a 4 year old boy escaped the confines of his home, grabbed one of Grand Dad’s Bud Lights, walked down the street, broke into a neighbors home and stole Christmas presents from under their tree. A Louisiana man Wayne A. Spring announced on Facebook that if the New Orleans Saints beat the Washington Redskins last Sunday, that anyone could come to his house and shoot his TV. Things were looking alright for his 60-inch HDTV until the Saints tied the game and then kicked the winning field goal to defeat the Redskins 33-30 in OT.
About a dozen beer- and gun-toting Saints fans showed up and shot his TV in his backyard. You can watch it play out here on video.
