Today we had our student led conferences at my kid’s school. It’s an opportunity for parents to meet with the teacher’s and student and see how their year is progressing. Early today I heard about another 10-year old who’s teaching his teachers a thing or two.
10-year old Dalton Sherman spoke to the a back-to-school kick-off event for the Dallas Independent School District in Texas. His speech is an inspiration to teachers, or should be and it should also remind us all of the inherent value in each child that steps into the schools every day along with our own children.
