Uncover the Internet

Essential Firefox Extensions

January 3, 2006 by admin

I absolutely love using Firefox; I was a die-hard Internet Explorer user for many years, until I was initiated into the wubbulous world of tabbed browsing. Now I’ll never go back. One of the best things about Firefox is that there are many, many great and useful Firefox extensions that you can use to save some time. Lifehack has a great list of the essential Firefox extensions; these include Performancing , a full-featured blog editor that I plan on installing today.

I use Performancing. It works very well and is kind of a Godsend for us GNU/Linux users because there’s nothing really *good* out there at the moment.

There’s one bug and one feature I’d like to see:

    1. Bug: Sometimes when you switch from preview to HTML mode, the entire post disappears (copy to clipboard first!)

    2. Feature: I’d like to be able to save a draft. Currently, everything is published right away.

I should send these to Performacing, eh?
