Handball at the 2008 Beijing Olympics

My son asked me last night what handball was and I explained to him that it was like racquetball except you use your hands instead of a racquet. After seeing this video I realized that I am completely wrong.
Is this sport new to anyone else besides me?
not to me! used to play this in high school. its like mini football (soccer) but you use your hands. once you receive the ball you can only take 3 steps before you let the ball go.
The three steps rule reminds me of Ultimate Frisbee.
