I was looking for a SIMPLE way to change those ? icons in the Google Toolbar. The suggestions need programming, much more than my current knowledge, much more time than I have. Any simpler solutions?

How about office icons placed on the Google toolbar? (Outlook)
I have tried to find the file on my windows xp with office version 11 (2003) without much success.
I can find the exe for outlook but not the icon, image, or php.
Any ideas?

take a look at http://www.google.com/tools/toolbar/buttons/apis/howto_guide.html#makeicons
and
http://www.google.com/tools/toolbar/buttons/apis/howto_guide.html#updatebutton

Basically, you need to either create an icon and convert it to the right format using the process described in the link above, or find the URL of the icon you want to use. Then go into Google Toolbar -> Options -> Buttons (tab) -> (select the button to update) -> Edit -> Use the Advanced Editor. Then you paste in the details from the 1st step.

Good luck.
