Nintendo8 – Play Classic Nintendo Games Online

If you recognize those images above then you were probably one of those people like me that played extraordinary amounts of Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo growing up.
Now the Nintendo8 website allows you to play those same favorites from your childhood online. From the ones I played, it definitely brought me back to the good ‘ol days of graphics that seemed utterly amazing compared to my previous Atari console.
We’ve come a long way haven’t we? But like I said awhile back in a post about another online game, sometimes it’s not the graphics or the number of buttons on the controller that matters. Sometimes it’s just about the plot and playability of the game itself.
Now if someone could just invent/build an old NES controller adapter that would plug into your USB port. Now that would bring it all together very nicely!
Thanks goes to the Ragamuffin Soul for uncovering this little gem for us.

This website is great
This site rocks! Been playing Tecmo – Super Bowl for hours.. xD
I can’t get the Java applet to work. If fails every time.
How do I go about fixing this?
I wonder if you might try uninstalling the Java Virtual Machine listed in your programs list and reinstall fresh? http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

I love this website! I don’t have to spend 500 Wii points to play these now! But Sonic the Hedgehog Blast 5 is NOT a NES game!
There’s a better website called Classix Games which allow to play Sega Genesis, NES, Game Gear, GameBoy, TurboGrafx-16 and more games :
