Uncover the Internet

Old Time Radio Show on OTR.Network

old-time-radio-network

I just found the OTR.Network site through Jason Falls who I first met at Blog World Expo ‘08, started following on twitter and just had lunch with this week at MBO here in Indianapolis.

The OTR.Network Library (The Old Time Radio Network) is a vault of old radio shows that are classics and some pretty rare and unknown stuff for me. A quick scan of the library and I saw stuff like:

  • Abbot and Costello
  • Frankenstein
  • The Green Hornet
  • The Inner Sanctum
  • The Lone Ranger
  • The Mel Blanc Show
  • The Saint
  • Tarzan

Wondering if I can get my kids to start listening to some of these for their own entertainment. They’re so used to Miley Cyrus, Disney Channel and professional sports, it may be a hard battle to get them to sit down and listen. Maybe we’ll start reading more too, although they’re doing well with that.

Uncover some of the classic radio entertainment for yourself at OTR.Network
