The world wide web is a great place. From someone who spends a significant amount of time cruising the "tubes", I can tell you that if you can’t find it on the web you aren’t looking the right way. There’s a caveat to that in that there’s probably some stuff on the web you’d rather not find as well.
Communication is perhaps the single area on the Internet that has exploded. There are so many ways to stay in touch and send a message on the web. The SendOutCards website helps you re-connect and communicate with people the old way. With mailed out cards, but they allow you to do it very easily. These aren’t e-cards either.
Pick your card, write your message and click send. Your message is then printed on the card, put in an envelope and sent to the recipient you specify. Remember doing that? Remember the feeling you had/have when you get "real" mail from someone?
Uncover that archaic way to send a message to someone, and help the postal service at the same time! Use SendOutCards and get your message across!

I just read this article that provided a quick summary and overview of 10 great applications that would be useful for anyone trying to get work done. You could be a small business owner, an independent consultant or just an individual that needs some more resources in their back pocket to get more done in their day.
These are all some great apps, some are free some are not, but all of them are completely useful and would quickly become business critical after a bit of use.
Read the entire article at Sitepoint for more details about each, as well as more applications and feedback that people are sharing in the comments on the post.
