yapta

Yapta is a website that lets you search for flights to take your next trip, and track them for future price changes before you confirm and purchase them. You don’t purchase the flights through Yapta, but they link you back to the airline’s or other seller’s website for the actual purchase.

Now they’re also having a contest through the end of the month for tracking flights and you can get up to 10 entries.

Yapta is proud to announce the “Track-A-Flight” Sweepstakes where you can win one of 20 prizes, including a $500 gift card to Marriott, a 1-year Clear Pass, the fast pass for airport security, or an Airport Lounge Day Pass, which provides access to over 500 airport VIP lounges across the world.  Becoming eligible for the Sweepstakes is easy.  All you have to do is visit Yapta.com during the month of October and track the airfare on any flight and Yapta will present you with the opportunity to participate.  You can increase your chances of winning by tracking up to 25 flights anytime between 10/1/08 and 10/31/08 to receive the maximum 25 entries into the sweepstakes.**

To find out more about Yapta and uncover some great deals, oh yeah and enter the sweepstakes visit their website by following the links below.

Win a T-shirt Even Easier Now

It looks like I’m going to have to make things a little easier for people to enter to win their free t-shirt from ChoiceShirts.com.

My original plan was to have people submit a picture of themselves in their favorite old t-shirt and send it in to me and our readers would vote on their favorites. I haven’t received any submissions that way so we’ll just take a random drawing from the names of people that have left a comment on the post.

BUT!

If you still want to send me your picture of you in your favorite t-shirt that will be worth five extra entries into the winning drawing.

So, just leave a comment on the original post and or send me your picture and let’s win some free t-shirts!

CONTEST DEADLINE: Entries are DUE BY 11:59 JULY 31st

Win a FREE T-shirt from ChoiceShirts and Wear what you think!

choiceshirts

One of my favorite things in the world is a nice comfortable t-shirt. It’s even better when the shirt voices a little bit of your own personality and opinions on things.

The ChoiceShirts website gives you just that opportunity with a huge selection of different t-shirts and categories of designs. If you can’t find exactly that statement you’re trying to make, you can even design your own. Right now I’m waiting on my G.I.Joe camo shirt that I won in a recent contest they were having online.

You can now have the chance to win your own selection of shirts in a couple of different ways.

  • Design ChoiceShirts.com twitter logo: ChoiceShirts.com is using twitter to connect with the community and their fans, but they’re looking for a new twitter icon to really represent who they are. You can submit your own ideas for a twitter icon by emailing your image and idea to them at twitter@choiceshirts.com. The winner will get their choice of three shirts from the ChoiceShirts.com catalog.

We’ve all got those favorite t-shirts folded up in our closets and drawers. You know the ones, holes in the armpits, faded and worn-out and so threadbare it looks like we’re wearing tissue paper instead of a t-shirt.

If you’re married, it’s probably that shirt that your wife won’t let you wear outside the house and even frowns on you wearing it in the house. It’s probably even shown up in the trash can once or twice before you plucked it out from its untimely demise.

  • Uncover the Internet Worst T-shirt Contest: Show us your own worst shirt in need of replacement and you could win a new shirt from ChoiceShirts.com

Here’s your chance to show-off your favorite shirt and get a new favorite one for free.

Just take a photo of you in your favorite, worn-out shirt and upload it somewhere and send me the link in the comments, or you can email me the image directly.

We’ll take entries through the rest of the month and then we’ll let the readers vote on the Top 3 Worst Shirts in need of replacement. The winners won’t be forced to replace their shirt, but they will be given their choice of one, new, free shirt from ChoiceShirts.com.

UPDATE: You can now get 1 entry for leaving a comment and 5 extra entries for submitting a photo. We will accept entries through 11:59pm on July 31st.

Completing Online Surveys from Purchases

Today I did a little odd thing that I’m sure nobody reading this has ever done, I spent some time at a local Panera Bread. One of the bonuses from this visit was an opportunity to complete an online survey about my visit. I began wondering, “What are my chances of winning this?”. That led me to another question then, my chances would be better if not many people did this like I am, do you complete survey opportunities that are listed on your purchase receipts?

Hopefully you don’t complete these for Panera, this sucker is worth $2000.
