I’m a bit of a pack rack, especially when it comes to something that I spent good money on when it was new, even if it’s not worth quite that much now.

The Old Switcheroo website provides a Web 2.0 spin on what we used to call a swap meet in the little country town where I grew up.

Old Switcheroo is like any healthy relationship: it’s give and take. You give others your stuff, so that at some point in the future you can take their stuff. So start things off by listing your stuff. Try to list as much as you can, since you receive credits for the number of items that you list during your initial listing.

So, sign-up and start listing that old stuff of yours that’s just taking up space, but someone else wants badly.

Start participating in your own old-time swap meet and give the Old Switcheroo a chance. Let us know about your experience and what you think about it.

I absolutely love playing Monopoly. I would love to participate in a Monopoly tournament and I can have that chance now on the Hasbro Monopoly website.
What I didn’t realize is that there is a TON of strategy and statistics that should be known to be a complete master of this game. That I don’t have yet.
Part of the process for making it to the tournament selection process is to get 16 out of 20 Monopoly related multiple-choice questions correct. I only got 13. First there was the Falling Sand Game, now you’ve got falling sand art with the ThisIsSand.com website.
Just visit the site, click your mouse and start sprinkling sand across the page. As you can see from my quick image above, you can create various piles and even change the color of your sand to create some pretty cool effects.
My kids love this kind of stuff and it’s also the type of thing that could end up sucking away far too much of the work day if you’re not careful.
Let’s see what you can create!

Fellow b5 blogger has uncovered a fun, online Iron Man video game that’s tied into the new Iron Man movie, which by the way is an amazing super hero movie! I’ve got to watch Batman Begins, Spider-Man and Iron Man again to decide if it’s the best super hero movie ever.
The game tests some basic skills that Robert Downey, Jr’s character, Tony Stark, had to master as he became Iron Man.
I didn’t do so well, but had a “BLAST” doing it.

This is the strategy game for strategists in my opinion. Interesting graphics and educational as well. As soon as my son is old enough, I hope to start showing him how to play as well. The historical information and playing videos are like reading through an encyclopedia (which I used to do as a kid).

WELCOME to Apolyton Civilization Site, dedicated to continuing complete coverage of the most comprehensive collection of Civilization-related material on the Internet.
If you’re a player of the Civilization games, the Apolyton site is a treasure trove of useful information, trivia and game play tips for everyone. It’s almost as addictive as the game itself with all the resources available to browse through.
