Glennz Tees - Apparel with Something to Say

I’m a sucker for a t-shirt that makes a statement. Usually my preference is one where only about half of the people that see it really get it. Then the ones that do get it love it! Glennz Tees delivers on both accounts.
As you can see from just the few shown in the screen shot of the Glennz Tees website, they deliver on making a statement. With clear and concise imagery and bold colors, this is the place to grab some great t-shirts to add to your collection.
If you’re like me, your collection could probably use some replacement of a few worn out and tattered t-shirts that have become your favorites.
Glennz Tees will capitalize on popular tech, classic pop-culture and some artistic classic spins like his Escher’s dog tee!
After a quick scan of their homepage, here are a few of my favorites. Feel free to purchase one for me as a gift. I prefer XX-LARGE, email me for my shipping address! =)

Get a Laugh on Rooftop Comedy

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet a stand-up comedian that was touring and had a stop in Indianapolis. His name is James Ervin Berry and he was a riot! I got to get a peek of his routine when he shared with me the Rooftop Comedy website.
If you’re looking for some great comedians the Rooftop Comedy website is loaded with lots of funny performers. You can find out more about them, visit their own websites and the best part is you can see a variety of videos of them performing clips of their routines.
You can find comedians, comedy events, as well as comedy clubs in your area where you can catch one of the comedians you’ve just found on the Rooftop Comedy website.
Moron Face

Here’s a fun a little website that lets you morph your face or the face of one of your friends. I believe there’s an application called Goo or something that lets you do this as well. However, with Moron Face you can do it all for free.
Might be an interesting little tool to give yourself a unique new avatar for your Facebook profile or twitter account. Of course it will be unique until everyone asks you where you got your cool new avatar and they make one for themselves.
Either way, have a little fun and freak out your friends with a little binary plastic surgery at Moron Face.

Speak Engrish Please

A friend of mine that spent the majority of her formative years growing up as an American in Japan just uncovered this site for me.
It reminds me of some of the funny pictures you see on the icanhascheezburger lolcats website, but all of this humor circles around language instead of animals.
Surfing through the site reminds me of some of the great comments that were made in some of my communication classes in college. One of my favorite professors was Korean and he just cracked me up with how he would say some words.
It was almost funnier when he knew he was saying it funny, and still played off of it with the students.

I’m not familiar with this movie. Is it a movie? Is it a TV show? Somebody fill me in. I feel like I should be a fan of this show. Where did it come from?
Hat tip to my friend Ben for uncovering this for me and exposing me to some additional pop culture.

Win a FREE T-shirt from ChoiceShirts and Wear what you think!

One of my favorite things in the world is a nice comfortable t-shirt. It’s even better when the shirt voices a little bit of your own personality and opinions on things.
The ChoiceShirts website gives you just that opportunity with a huge selection of different t-shirts and categories of designs. If you can’t find exactly that statement you’re trying to make, you can even design your own. Right now I’m waiting on my G.I.Joe camo shirt that I won in a recent contest they were having online.
You can now have the chance to win your own selection of shirts in a couple of different ways.
- Design ChoiceShirts.com twitter logo: ChoiceShirts.com is using twitter to connect with the community and their fans, but they’re looking for a new twitter icon to really represent who they are. You can submit your own ideas for a twitter icon by emailing your image and idea to them at twitter@choiceshirts.com. The winner will get their choice of three shirts from the ChoiceShirts.com catalog.
We’ve all got those favorite t-shirts folded up in our closets and drawers. You know the ones, holes in the armpits, faded and worn-out and so threadbare it looks like we’re wearing tissue paper instead of a t-shirt.
If you’re married, it’s probably that shirt that your wife won’t let you wear outside the house and even frowns on you wearing it in the house. It’s probably even shown up in the trash can once or twice before you plucked it out from its untimely demise.
- Uncover the Internet Worst T-shirt Contest: Show us your own worst shirt in need of replacement and you could win a new shirt from ChoiceShirts.com
Here’s your chance to show-off your favorite shirt and get a new favorite one for free.
Just take a photo of you in your favorite, worn-out shirt and upload it somewhere and send me the link in the comments, or you can email me the image directly.
We’ll take entries through the rest of the month and then we’ll let the readers vote on the Top 3 Worst Shirts in need of replacement. The winners won’t be forced to replace their shirt, but they will be given their choice of one, new, free shirt from ChoiceShirts.com.
UPDATE: You can now get 1 entry for leaving a comment and 5 extra entries for submitting a photo. We will accept entries through 11:59pm on July 31st.

WARNING: Video contains language not appropriate for younger children.
I got to visit with my cousin and his family from Kansas this past weekend as they were vacationing near me. We got to talking about comedians some how and the topic of Jeff Dunham came up. They let me know he’s got a new character that I haven’t seen before named Achmed who’s a terrorist. He’s a suicide bomber who had a bit of a premature detonation.
The character is a really funny addition to his team.
