It’s that time of year again, guys switch from spending their time watching crazy videos of stupid stunts and pranks to preparing for their fantasy football team. I’ll be repeating my fantasy football seasons this year with ESPN Fantasy Football and Fox Sports Fantasy Football websites.
The only problem is that my draft is tonight for the ESPN league and I’m not sure if the draft tool is going to work or not. The assistance for knowing whether or not it is, is less than helpful.

<p>It’s that time of year again, guys switch from spending their time watching crazy videos of stupid stunts and pranks to preparing for their fantasy football team. I’ll be repeating my fantasy football seasons this year with <a title="ESPN Fantasy Football" href="http://games.espn.go.com/frontpage/football" target="_blank"><strong>ESPN Fantasy Football</strong></a> and <a title="Fox Sports Fantasy Football" href="http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/football/commissioner" target="_blank"><strong>Fox Sports Fantasy Football</strong></a><strong> </strong>websites.</p>
<p>The only problem is that my draft is tonight for the ESPN league and I’m not sure if the draft tool is going to work or not. The assistance for knowing whether or not it is, is less than helpful.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball1.gif"><img title="espn-fantasy-football1" style="border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" height="282" alt="espn-fantasy-football1" src="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball1-thumb.gif" width="493" border="0" /></a> </p>
<p>To test the draft you click on link clearly labeled and you’ll see the screen above. When you click on the “Press Button to Begin Draft Test” in Firefox 3 I’m prompted with the following screen.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball2.gif"><img title="espn-fantasy-football2" style="border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" height="289" alt="espn-fantasy-football2" src="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball2-thumb.gif" width="381" border="0" /></a> </p>
<p>That file downloads and it shows that java is installing and a little non-descript window displays saying everything has installed fine. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball3.gif"><img title="espn-fantasy-football3" style="border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" height="250" alt="espn-fantasy-football3" src="http://www.everyjoe.com/uncovertheinternet/files/2008/08/espnfantasyfootball3-thumb.gif" width="350" border="0" /></a> </p>
<p>Then the site just goes back to the original page. I think what would be really helpful is if something actually occurred on the site to show you what the draft tool is going to look like and how it should display when it’s going to work.</p>
<p>Hopefully I’m ready for tonight. Now I’ve got to go see who I should pick first since I’m going first.</p>
