Google Launches Google Profiles

Coming right off my post on Google continuing to pursue their world domination, I find out today that they’ve now launched Google profiles. Your Google profile is kind of like a personal billboard for yourself online. A place to bring together all of your business, personal and social network personas.

LinkedIn Idiocy

Can someone please explain to me why LinkedIn even has the “I don’t know Peter” option if they won’t let you use it? How many people have had their time wasted by that.
When you click on “Send Invitation” you get this message.

Here’s why I’d use this option in this case. I know Peter, I just don’t know his e-mail address. He was an exchange student that lived with us when I was in high school. Haven’t talked to him since. Would love to reconnect with him now.
