Last month I covered the Profiles in History auction that was taking place online. You could have bid on an original Mac computer that was given to Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry by Apple. I just got an email listing some of the other items that were available to bid and that others won.

There were some really cool items auctioned off, both from a historical significance and for those sci-fi and movie buffs. Check-out these items and the prices they went for in the auction.

It’s not impacted my daily life. Not sure if anyone would be surprised by that or not. What am I talking about? The loss of Michael Jackson. I will say that the music industry has a gap to fill. The world has been without Michael Jackson for a little over two weeks now. Regardless of how you feel about his off-stage life, onstage he truly impacted music and dance forever. One of his signature moves was the "Moonwalk" and now devoted fans are building a tribute to him using that dance move.

Michael Jackson Dies at 50

The pop music icon, Michael Jackson, has died at the age of 50 in Los Angeles, California. Michael was preparing for a comeback world tour where his shows sold out within minutes of tickets being available. With 13 Grammy Awards and almost 1 billion records sold, regardless of your personal opinions, he was without a doubt the most successful music entertainer of all time.
