Using Drop.io To Share and Collaborate

We continue to uncover a wide variety of websites on Uncover the Internet. A potential trend for websites that we’ve covered are those that allow and encourage the sharing of information and resources between individuals and groups of individuals.
The Drop.io website is another listing in that same group of sites. One of the biggest differences from my experience in sharing about these different sites is that Drop.io provides a significant amount of space for users to enjoy for free.

Yahoo 360 Shutting Down

Yahoo 360 was developed as a new social media portal platform that in my opinion never really took off. It was supposed to combine a social network functionality with all the content aggregation from other sources that you’re actively involved. It’s not a huge shock to me it’s shutting down.

Skitch.com: Capture and Share Screen Shots

I’ve been a die-hard fan of the software SnagIt for a couple of years now. I use it so much I’m at the point now where I’d probably go crazy if I didn’t have it available. However, after hearing about feedback from people who have used Skitch.com to grab screen capture, it might push me to get a Mac and replace my SnagIt addiction with Skitch.com instead.
Skitch.com is currently available for Mac’s only. I’ll have to tell my brother about this one I guess. Watch the video below for some more details.
