You don’t have to go out and fight the crowds this Friday to take advantage of some great deals online. One of my favorite online retailers has already started their Black Friday deals now.

You can get deals from many of my favorite online merchants right now. Here’s a list of the ones I may actually be checking out between slices of pumpkin pie and handfuls of chips and broccoli cheese dip.

Amazon.com

Buy.com – Not listed as Black Friday deals, just “Holiday Deals”

ThinkGeek.com – more cool stuff, even if you don’t get a “deal” on it. You probably won’t find it anywhere else. Just look for stuff on sale.

OldNavy.com – if clothes are on your list, OldNavy and all their brands are now offering free shipping on orders over $50.

Now, I’m trying to decide if it might actually be fun to go into some stores with a few of my friends and just randomly run screaming to various locations in the store. I wonder how many people would follow us thinking we’ve found a great deal!

Thanks to Andrew Matus, the brains behind site, men may think twice before saying they’re don’t like shopping anymore.

“While Swaxy.com is meant to be sexy and entertaining, it’s also truly a great place to find incredible bargains,” continues Matus. “The shopping experience is similar to a treasure hunt; we offer competitively priced items that change constantly. The deals are great, so product sells quickly. As soon as those items are sold out, we update the site with brand new merchandise; this gives customers an incentive to come back often.”

Swaxy has teamed up with former Playboy Model of the Year, Jillian Beyor, and other gorgeous ladies to help model and promote a variety of products on the Swaxy website. Now excuse me while I go see what exactly I need to uncover next.

Did you know that it wasn’t too long ago that standing around in your t-shirt would have been seen and received as you standing around in your underwear? After all they are undergarments originally, but being covered up is no place for them now. Where else can you wear something that can make such a statement about your values, beliefs and favorites than on your own favorite t-shirt! Now you can get some more great vintage t-shirts for your collection from RichRobots.com.

The RichRobots website doesn’t have quite the selection of pop-culture referencing t-shirts as some other online retailers, but they have some seriously classic, vintage looking t-shirts to get your groovy style going out in public.

RichRobots operates under the premise that humans love a soft, simple t-shirt that begs to be worn again and again. Our shirts that are so soft from the get-go, they will be the first thing you’ll wear after a fresh round of laundry. You’ll probably even come up with endearing nicknames for them.

Introducing the New Vintage:

Each RichRobots design is 100% original and exclusive to www.richrobots.com. Taking a cue from the 80’s style of retro, RichRobots shirts are inspired by the fashion of yesteryear, yet fused with modern sensibilities, to create what we like to call "the new vintage."

Our shirts are ultra-soft and made to look and feel like you’ve owned them for years from the moment you first put them on. We stand by our shirts, by their inspired style, and by the fact that we, as wealthy robots, know best.

You know it! There’s nothing quite like that perfectly soft t-shirt you’ve been wearing since your high school days (if you’re lucky enough to still fit in it!).

One of the ways you can stretch your household budget further is by staying on top of what’s for sale or coming for sale at your local store. I’ve subscribed to email notifications for the stores we shop at most. Many times the information available is helpful in a variety of ways for what you need.

Just do a Google search for your favorite grocery store by name and see what you can find. Now if I could only tell them to stop sending me the junk mail paper ads every week. What a waste when I can get it online for free and no dead trees!

I was checking out there clearance items and found a pair of nice, simple black shoes that I liked and decided to look at them a little closer. Turns out, the features of the Finish Line site really let me take a closer look of exactly the detail I was interested.

What I thought was nice is that you hover over the area of the show you want to see close-up (#1) and it appears in the enlarged windows (#2). You can change the perspective of the view of the shoe you’re seeing by selecting one of the other options like top, side, bottom, left and right (#3).

Very nice! It makes the effort of shopping for shoes and really looking at what your purchasing almost like visiting the store in person.

Are you the type of person that loves handmade products and just don’t know where to shop for them anymore? Or, maybe there’s a nice little shop in your little town that you visit frequently, but you’d like to expand your shopping area. Or, maybe the bigger opportunity for you is to sell your own handmade crafts and make a little money on the side.
If you fit in one of these areas, then Etsy (www.etsy.com) could be just the place you’ve been looking for on the internet. Etsy reminds me of Makezine.com, without the techno-geek spin to it.

Here’s a little bit about Etsy from their site:

What
Etsy is an online marketplace for buying and selling all things handmade. Etsy lets you shop by color, place, time and material.

When
After several months of planning and building, Etsy was launched on June 18, 2005.

Why
There are lots of new ideas and technologies opening up new ways to shop online. The big corporate sites like eBay and Amazon seem to be content with a text-only advanced search. We’re here to show the range of possibilities, and just what’s possible.

Etsy has products in numerous categories that may interest you: Accessories, Art, Bags & Purses, Bath & Beauty, Books & Zines, Candles, Ceramics & Pottery, Children, Clothing, Crochet, Everything Else, Furniture, Geekery, Glass, Holidays, Housewares, Jewelry, Knitting, Music, Needlecraft, Paper Goods, Patterns, Pets, Plants & Edibles, Quilts, Supplies, Toys, Vintage, Weddings, Woodworking.

If you’d like to learn more about Etsy, Amber MacArthur and Leo Laporte just featured them on their podcast, Inside the Net.
