I can’t remember now what it is I was searching for when I originally uncovered Neil’s Toolbox. But this site is loaded with a number of handy little web tools. Most of the stuff are little searches and tricks you could do on your own, but why?

Neil has done most if not all of the legwork for you and put everything together in this handy little website that really does work like your own web toolbox.

For things like:

  • Plagiarism Tester
  • Google MP3 Finder
  • Savings Interest Calculator
  • Password Security Tester

and so many more, there’s probably something here that would answer that question you’ve been wondering about randomly for the last couple of months.

Go uncover Neil’s Toolbox for yourself and get your hands on the world web web equivalent of a good hammer and a roll of duct-tape. With those two things you can pretty much fix anything right?

PC Mag’s Top 100 Undiscovered Web Sites

Part of uncovering great and interesting sites is to take advantage of finding them no matter where they come from on the web right?

PC Magazine has an article where they are highlighting The Top 100 Undiscovered Web Sites.

The editors have broken down their list into the following categories:

  • Apps and Services
  • Fun and Games
  • Health and Science
  • Info, Search, and Reference
  • Lifestyle
  • Money and Real Estate
  • Music
  • News
  • Photo
  • Shopping
  • Social Networking
  • Technology
  • Travel and Maps

Every single category is loaded with great, helpful and interesting websites. I’d love to hear what some of your favorites are in each category. Which ones are you using? Which ones should I be immediately saving to my list of bookmarks for future and repeated use?

One thing I’ve been looking for on the article though is a link to a zip file of all the sites that you can quickly load into your favorites. They used to do that on previous articles didn’t they? Or was that PC World’s version of their lists?

Uncover an undiscovered website of your own with PC Magazine.

UPDATE: Here’s the link to download the ZIP file with all the sites.

ESPN Fantasy Football – Draft Tool Problems?

It’s that time of year again, guys switch from spending their time watching crazy videos of stupid stunts and pranks to preparing for their fantasy football team. I’ll be repeating my fantasy football seasons this year with ESPN Fantasy Football and Fox Sports Fantasy Football websites.

The only problem is that my draft is tonight for the ESPN league and I’m not sure if the draft tool is going to work or not. The assistance for knowing whether or not it is, is less than helpful.

To test the draft you click on link clearly labeled and you’ll see the screen above. When you click on the “Press Button to Begin Draft Test” in Firefox 3 I’m prompted with the following screen.

That file downloads and it shows that java is installing and a little non-descript window displays saying everything has installed fine.

Then the site just goes back to the original page. I think what would be really helpful is if something actually occurred on the site to show you what the draft tool is going to look like and how it should display when it’s going to work.

Hopefully I’m ready for tonight. Now I’ve got to go see who I should pick first since I’m going first.
