I believe one of the reasons the iPod design is so popular is because of the simplicity of the controls. The same simplicity in design also works well for websites.

The downforeveryoneorjustme.com site does exactly what the domain name suggests. It quickly lets you know if a website is offline for everyone or just you. This can come in handy when you’re developing a new site for a client and aren’t sure what you’re getting. Is it a problem with the servers or something in your coding that’s making it night work. Add the challenge of figuring out if it’s your ISP’s domain name resolution services and you’ve got a few questions up in the air that need answering.

Simply visit www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and input the domain name in question as shown in the image above. You’ll be immediately presented with whether or not the issues are impacting the website across the board or if it’s just a problem being experienced on your machine or your Internet connection.

Uncover the quick, simple answers for your website being on or offline by using www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com

I’ve been a happy customer of GoDaddy for quite sometime now. I know there are a number of people, close friends included, that will lambaste me for going with GoDaddy, but they’ve given me great service and support for an affordable price.

After mentioning a comment about hosting though recently, someone sent me a link for the 10BestHosting2009.com website.
The website provides their list of best websites based on price and services. There are some sites that provide better price than I’m paying now for sure.
The website provides their list of best websites based on price and services. There are some sites that provide better price than I’m paying now for sure. My problem is that it’s such a pain to switch hosting companies. I’ve got 50 plus clients that I’m managing and I don’t even want to contemplate the amount of effort it would take to migrate and change all those websites to a new host and email provider.

But if you’re looking to setup your first website or to make a move to a new host for whatever reason, go uncover some options for yourself at 10BestHosting2009.com website.

PC Magazine has released their collection of the Top 101 Websites for 2006. They always do a pretty good job with this list, and although not many websites surprise me, or are ones I haven’t heard of, they always seem to remind me of some websites that are great and I’d just forgotten about.
One of the things they do that I enjoy is they organize them into different groups and categories like:

Apps – PC & Mobile
Business & Finance
Careers
Computing
Consumer Electronics & Photography
Health
Information, Search & Reference
Lifestyle, Entertainment & Fun
News
Oddities & Gaming
Shopping
Travel

They always do a pretty good job with this list, and although not many websites surprise me, or are ones I haven’t heard of, they always seem to remind me of some websites that are great and I’d just forgotten about.

They also put all the sites together and make them available as a single download file that will install all of them in your favorites. A handy resource if you’re like me and pretty much keep every great site you’ve come across.

Although they included some blogs in the various categories, I’m kind of surprised they didn’t have a separate category. That may be a good thing though, after all a blog is still a legitimate website.
