There’s a new website out there that’s kind of like a geo-caching hunt that comes to you. You find an envelope, put a little something in it and mail it off to someone. They receive it, take a picture and share about it on the IGotAnEnvelope.com website.
All you need to do to start to participate on the IGotAnEnvelope.com website is to address and stamp a plain, empty envelope. Leave a note on it, or write on the back and ask the person who finds the envelope to put a little memento into it and drop it in the mail. …read more

The Break.com site has more than just videos though, you can also find humorous photos as well as games and other stuff, but I usually spend most of my …read more

Pets in Clothes – Because You Know They Need Them

I’m not sure why it is that people like putting clothes on their pets. We’ve all seen them, tiny dogs with sweaters, cats with vests and other ridiculous apparel. Why do people do this? To me it would be like putting a fish in a wetsuit. They don’t need them!!! They have a fur coat for a reason.
You can visit the Pets in Clothes website to see more examples of these crazy people dressing up their pets.
We recently got a new pet in our house, a new shih tzu puppy named Moxie. I’m not a dog person and my kids …read more

The death of Kodak producing "real" film anymore is a big loss for the way things used to be. Sure, digital cameras are amazing and let us do stuff with photos we haven’t been able to do before as consumers. There was just something about the look of an old-school Polaroid that brought back memories.
We experienced a bit of the same thing with the death of vinyl albums. Sure CD’s were supposed to be indestructible and unscratchable, but there was still something about listening to audio with a bit of a hiss and crackle to it.
The Rollip website allows you …read more

I must say that one of my least favorite groups of people are passive aggressive. They just annoy me in their manipulative manner of sharing their ideas and needs and intentions with other people. Did you know there’s a website that highlights the activities of this group of people?
Go to PassiveAggressiveNotes.com and enjoy photos of some of the best examples of passive aggressiveness that you’ve seen. Many of them seem to be related to your corporate work environments and the sneaky theft of food among coworkers.
What I didn’t really expect to happen is that surfing through the site and taking …read more

People of Wal-Mart

Over a decade ago my old roommate and I would joke about the different people we would see in our local Wal-Mart in Nashville, TN. We would just mentioned the word "clientele" and we would immediately know what each other meant and start looking around for whatever we were missing.
The People of Walmart website pays homage to the sites frequently on display at everyone’s favorite retailer.
There’s just something about the folks that you frequently see in Wal-Marts around this country that set themselves apart from the customers you might find in other establishments like your local Target, Meijer or similar …read more
