GROUPON – Collective Buying Power Coming to Your City

My wife shared a link with me this evening that looks pretty interesting. It’s a coupon and discount site called Groupon, but it’s more than just coupons. It’s a marketing tool as well and the idea is to swarm a location or establishment with business. What company wouldn’t want that kind of attention?!

With coupons, you did like I did tonight and save a few bucks on a variety of different grocery items. Groupon let’s you save real money on some really great stuff that you’d like to do, but you didn’t want to spend the full price on it to …read more

Requested Christmas Gift – 5lb Gummi Bear

I’m normally not a big candy lover. However, one of my weaknesses is just about anything gummi. My personal favorites are the classic gummi worms and gummi bears, but also like the sour gummi worms too.

I’ve uncovered a website that provides what has now risen to the top of my Christmas list for the year. I can purchase a blue, green or red 5lb. gummi bear for less than $30. That’s 5lb’s of GUMMI GOODNESS! The equivalent of 1400 regularly sized gummi bears.
The Vat19 website has much more than ginormous gummi bears though. They’ve also go all kinds of other …read more

Swaxy – Making Online Shopping Attractive Again

Shopping online can get boring these days. Thumbing through pages and pages and pages of catalog items can be so dull. When you don’t have to worry about shelf space or overhead having so much inventory can put people to sleep. Swaxy will wake you up!

I’m sure you can see why Swaxy will wake up your online shopping. Swaxy has taken shopping and brought the sexy back, although I’m not sure when sexy was ever really used in the same sentence with shopping. Thanks to Andrew Matus, the brains behind site, men may think twice before saying they’re don’t …read more

Use Burpee to Deepen Grow That Green Thumb

I was recently asked a question about how to grow different herbs and spices in someone’s home. My memory immediately flashed back to my early childhood when I would thumb through the pages of my grandmother’s Burpee seed catalog.

Burpee has done a bit of growing of their own lately and are now filling the Internet with their wealth of horticulture resources and growing tips.
As with their paper catalogs at my grandmother’s house, the Burpee website provides information on flowers, herbs, vegetables, gardening supplies and a cornucopia of tips and tricks for getting the most out of your gardens and flower …read more
