A few months ago I shared a post about a group of 36 skateboarders in San Francisco that created a pretty cool video. They used Freebords to make a video of what appeared to be a Tetris game as they skated downhill.

I’ll bet you’ve not seen girls jump-roping like this before in your life. They’re doing more than just jumping and spinning the rope multiple times on one jump. These girls are fantastic!

Thanks to my friend William Lehman over at Decloned for sharing the video on his blog. I’ve never heard of the Firecrackers before, but not I’m checking out their schedule so I can go see them perform at another event for half-time.

My wife just shared this video with me. I grew up in Kentucky and love my home state. There are some very eccentric country folk living in the Bluegrass state though.

Now noodling, the sport of catching catfish by sticking your hand and arm into a hole and letting them bite it, is one thing. But noodling for snapping turtles is something completely different. I’ve been fishing and seen a snapping turtle break a broom stick like a twig. You can believe these suckers he’s catching would take a chunk out of whatever they wanted that they could reach.

My son introduced me to a website tonight that I wish he hadn’t. It’s become a giant waste of time, albeit a lot of fun too. It started with a game he was playing and having fun with tonight as I was working. I told him I could beat him easy.

Turns out I haven’t beaten him yet.

I’m not even a big hockey fan and don’t follow the sport, but this looks like a pretty amazing shot to me for sure. He picks up the puck and twirls it between his legs before launching it into the net as far as I can tell.

Oliver Wahlstrom shot the goals as part of a shoot-out goal. For all of you hockey fans out there. Tell me more about this shot. What do you think? Does the kid of serious talent or what?
