Uncover the Internet

Use the Internet to Make Your Birthday Special

Today is my 35th birthday. Not a really big deal, but this year I noticed something I haven’t noticed in previous years. I got A LOT of emails from places that I do business with throughout the year that wished me a Happy Birthday by giving me free stuff.

If you haven’t done it, I really recommend you lookup the business you do business with all the time and register for whatever they have. These can be restaurants, online retailers, bricks and mortar retailers, golf courses, etc. Just about anything you can think of really. Here’s a list of some places I received email from this week with freebies.

That’s just a short list. I haven’t pursued many of these places, just signed up for things as it’s come around. There’s probably $100+ in savings just in that list alone.

I would recommend setting up an email address with an one of the free, online services to use as your email address for these types of things though to help control overwhelming your primary Inbox with these types of things and to help provide a bit of a filter for spam.
