Uncover the Internet

Visit The Nature Conservancy for Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day I thought it would be appropriate to spotlight a website for an organization that focuses it’s efforts on preserving our world and the nature around us. My family has had a new appreciation for the outdoors recently with our venturs into camping together as a family. I hope to instill in my kids an even greater appreciation and love for the outdoors, which includes taking care of what we’ve got.

Here’s a little bit from The Nature Conservancy website about their Earth Day efforts and general efforts of their organization.

Welcome to The Nature Conservancy — the leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.

It’s Earth Day — it’s time to Spring Outside with your friends and family. Look below — we’ve got a preserve map and tips to get you inspired! Then use Facebook to get your friends outside, too — and send us a photo of your adventure in nature!

So get on out there and enjoy the Earth that surrounds us and takes care of us. You may also find more information about Earth Day at the Earth Day Network website.
