Trying to figure out application a specific file extension is used with on your computer?

Check-out FILExt.com

This site provides a quick alphabetical listing of all known extensions. Well I’m not sure if they know all of them, but they had the file extension I was looking for and told me what was going on with that extension.

I nifty little resource if I do say so myself, which I do.

.GDB is a Garmin database file. It may be downloaded into certain Garmin GPS models to display a planned route. I have no other information at this time.
