Yahoo! Mail Offers New Embedded Yahoo Messenger

Taking a cue from Google, Yahoo! is now offering embedded IM capabilities with their Yahoo! Messenger client within the Yahoo! Mail interface.
It’s a really nice implementation in my opinion. Very clean and the obvious integration is nice.
I’m just wondering though if this is the potential cause of some of the problems Yahoo! and their users have been experiencing with getting reliable e-mail service.
