Dell Is Committed to the Success of Windows Vista

Dell invested 100,000 engineer hours experimenting on 500,000 different product configurations and trained 3,000 Dell customer support employees as they take orders across Europe, Middle East and Africa for Dell desktops and notebooks pre-loaded with Windows Vista.

Dell’s best hardware configuration to enjoy the Windows Vista experience is a dual-core or quad-core processor with 2GB of memory and 256 Video Card memory.

The commitment of Dell is a big boost to the success of Windows Vista. If Dell hardware sales increase because of this, more and more PC vendors would replicate what Dell has done which all increases the bottomline of Microsoft.

The reach of DELL leaves little room for failure and as such I would expect their hardware and Vista combo as a huge success.
