It’s on! Go download WMP11 Beta now if you aint got it already with build 5381. The Beta is now public and you can find more info on microsoft.com or get it directly at this page. You can also sign up for a free two week trial of Urge. Thanks to Sean Alexander who gives us an Urge Tip: “A little known feature of Urge is 700kbps streaming music videos for a huge swath of the library - look for the little film icon to the left of songs to see if a video is available.”

it isn’t cool i don’t like it because I have vista and wmp11 isn’t working more en you can’t re install it help me???!!!

i have installed SP1 RC1 and use business vista -> windows media player 11 dropped off the programs. Cannot even locate to remove in remove programs thus it doesn’t exist re the o/s.
When you try to re-install it says you have later version? (its the latest from MS web site) & cannot remove to reinstall & cannot overwrite.
I’m stuck until a later version is available.
Blogs eg teched shows this has been logged for over 12 months.
