In this session, we look at the reliability features in the Windows Vista operating system. We begin with a look at how users define reliability and describe how system downtime affects them. We examine the different attributes of reliability and explain how those factors have been addressed in the reliability goals for Windows Vista. We then provide a detailed examination of some of the new reliability and performance enhancements in Windows Vista, including improved responsiveness, automatic recovery capabilities, and the built-in diagnostics.
