I came across Geek of the Day and their funny version of the different meanings of Windows Vista.

The meaning I like most is this: Vastly Inferior Software To Apple’s

Milo joins Vincent in WVW

Hello Windows Vista Weblog readers, I’m Milo and I’ll be co-blogging with Vincent, here at WVW, who has done an excellent job growing this site.

I started applying for B5 technology related sites since last year but have been snubbed a number of times until Aaron, who used to be the CE of the Sports Channel, accepted me to blog on Football back in February this year. Funny thing is, I tried to co-blog for WVW a few months back and wasn’t given the go signal until Aaron became the technology channel editor. Thanks Aaron and I hope you become a CEO of a multi-billion dollar company someday (just don’t forget you always grab me for a job). :)

Technology blogging isn’t new to me as I write at Techticles mainly about Microsoft and SharePoint 2007 / MOSS 2007. Likewise, you can learn more about me at my personal blog.

Anyways, I am looking forward for an exciting time here at Windows Vista and hope I could entertain you as Vincent has successfully done.

MS trying the step user interface?

March 8, 2006 by admin

Oh my god, it looks like Microsoft is toying with a “Step User Interface”. This was demo’ed at TechFest last week. It’s like Dance Dance Revolution meets Windows Explorer. I hope this one never makes it to the store shelves! But that’s no concern to Microsoft, which spends billions of dollars a e year researching far-out technologies without worrying about whether the gizmos will ever make it to store shelves. Yahoo.com writes:

“This is just one off-the-shelf piece of hardware we can use,” A.J. Brush, the lead researcher on the project, said after demonstrating the technology. “Now we’re looking at broadening, thinking about accelerometers or other things you could strap onto your feet so you really could be just sitting at your desk and kicking your e-mail away under the desk.”

Back in action on Windows Vista

Cutting through the server problems of the last few days, which I hope are behind us now, here’s a simple post, just to get things going again.

A little touch of Scoble, I thought, would get us back in the mood for Windows Vista. Here he is on his new blog getting very excited about … well … Windows Vista. I know, it’s hardly “hold the front page” stuff, but it’s very reassuring just the same :

… the latest builds of Windows Vista that are showing up are really getting me excited. New features are showing up with every build. This is a fun time to be a Microsoft employee. I just wish I had more time to play. Oh, and there’s a famous guitarist (I don’t know that it’s my place to give his name away) recording the sounds right now that will play on Windows Vista.

Ahhhh!
